Training on safeguarding will be available from your organisation and through the Safeguarding Bedfordshire site which you can find here.
Safeguarding Bedfordshire provides multi-agency safeguarding training across the county on behalf of the Luton, Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire LSCB’s.
There are a range of multi- agency safeguarding learning activities (e-learning, virtual classroom and face to face).
Depending on the organisation you work/volunteer for you may be charged a fee. The fee for courses is £75.00 per day. Further information on this can be found on the above link. Please note if you fail to attend you will be charged full course fees.
You will need to register on the website in order to access the full range of training offered (including e-learning).
When you apply you will receive an acknowledgement but confirmation of your place will be sent approx. 4 weeks prior to the course date. This is to ensure each learning event is attended by a wide variety of partner agencies and so places are not offered on a first come first served basis.
Throughout the year, free of charge briefing events for all practitioners are held in order to update on messages from a local and a national perspective, such events are open to all colleagues across the County.
